The sandy granite valley of the Dão Quinta de Lemos is located on a plateau at 340 meters high. To honor our birth region, we create exclusive and highly qualitative wines made of indigenous grape varieties. The final product reflects all steps in the design of the vineyard. Every year we introduce different blends and various mono-varietal wines expressing the aromas of different grape types.
We named our most exclusive wines after the families’ matriarchs to honor our ancestors. Awarded since its inception in 2013, Quinta de Lemos received one of the most iconic international awards: the gold medal, Portuguese Dão Red Trophy, and a trophy for Dona Georgina 2005 in the IWC in the UK. Dona Georgina 2005 also won the James Rogers Trophy in 2013, a special prize for the best wine in its first year of production.
