In 2009, Albino Miranda, Ltd., with the need to take the first steps in the international market, embraced a new challenge, presenting its latest furniture brand in fiberglass: Karpa – designed for interior and exterior and composed by a wide range of artistic, unique, and luxurious products.
This brand was conceived for Interior and Exterior environments, taking the organic shapes, textures, and colors of nature as its main inspirations.
KARPA’s pieces are passionately handcrafted by the Artist Albino Miranda, who has more than 30 years of sculpting experience and leads a team of 35 highly responsible and dedicated professionals that make sure every single product comes out perfect.
Combining organic and sculptural lines with innovative finishes and textures allows KARPA to bring emotions to life. As part of KARPA growth, participation in international tradeshows was mandatory, with regular presences at Maison et Objet each year and some other tradeshows occasionally such as ICFF, Salone del Mobile, Portugal Home Week, or Homeing. As a result of the participation in those tradeshows, KARPA now exports to all over Europe, the USA, Middle East, and even Australia.
KARPA has become a “must-add” brand to the most luxurious hotels globally, such as the Hotel Savoy Palace in Portugal, Cavo Tagoo Mykonos in Greece, or the Renaissance Paris Hippodrome de St Cloud in France.
Recently, to suppress the lack of presence in the Asian continent, KARPA opened a new showroom in Shenzhen, China. This achievement stands out as a significant step towards its internationalization, and we can guarantee you that we won’t stop.
