Founded in Porto in 2017, Infinite Foundry builds 3D real-time virtual environments of a wide range of industrial facilities. These simulations mimic any operation performed by that facility to allow remote monitoring, manufacturing optimization, and virtual training, thus saving costs and increasing operational efficiency.
The real-time simulations are constructed by scanning the interior of the facility with lasers that are fed into software to automatically recognize the buildings and equipment.
That 3D model is connected to PLC, sensor, and camera data from the factory to obtain a 3D real-time animation of production.
Infinite Foundry has 30 large industrial companies such as Mercedes-Benz, L’Oréal, Volkswagen, Renault, Bosch, ESA (European Space Agency), and Shell.
