Our mission is to produce sustainably, protect the environment, promote employees’ well-being, and benefit the local community in which we operate.

Based on the goals of our project, we’ve been working on transparency and continuous improvement. In 2020, we were the first Alentejo wine producer to obtain the Sustainably Produced certification, promoted by the Wines of Alentejo Sustainability Program.

Winemaker and manager of Herdade dos Grous, Luís Duarte, was honored by the president of the Portuguese Republic for his work and dedication to the wine sector and three times voted Best Winemaker in Portugal by the press. He coordinates and manages a young and dedicated team.

Herdade dos Grous wines are of high standard quality, made with indigenous grapes and modern winemaking techniques, representing the strong identity of the Alentejo wine region.
