The company strategy is to produce under the name “Mata” to retail chain stores for private labels, which is its primary type of client, and present its collections with the brand M-Dv – Men’s Devotion. At the client’s request, Fábrica de Calçado da Mata also provides all the necessary support in developing the differentiating elements of the product, such as customized packaging, wrapping paper, shoe-horn, among others.
Currently, MATA exports 95% of its production to clients that, in many cases, are leaders in their segments in the following markets: Portugal, Spain, France, Belgium, United Kingdom, Ireland, Sweden, Denmark, Holland, Germany, Switzerland, Japan, United States of America and South Africa.
Each collection presented incorporates the latest commercial trends based on the continuous search for new raw materials. MATA works in close partnership with its international suppliers, always considering its clients’ expectations since the CLIENT is its motivating force and permanent focus.
