Atena is the new Invasive Medical Ventilator developed and produced in Portugal.
Atena is an invasive medical ventilator developed by CEiiA, with a community of medical doctors, to fight the COVID-19 disease. Atena V1 (rapidly manufactured version) is currently being manufactured (500 units already produced) at a daily rate of 20units/day. Atena V2 (optimized version) is presently under development towards the highest standards of sophisticated CE-marked ventilators.
In addition to supplying health units in Portugal, CEiiA is also exporting these new ventilators. One hundred units have already been sent to Brazil, plus 150 to other destinations.
Portugal is a country open to business, which has not stopped innovating and adapting to the COVID-19 crisis.
