ADEGA DE REDONDO (AR) is located in the fashionable wine region of Alentejo and is one of the largest wine producers in Portugal, with a total area of 2.000 ha of vineyards and annual sales of more than 15 million bottles.

Geographically, the sub-region of Redondo – in the center of the Alentejo region – is decisively influenced by the Serra d’Ossa mountains, which rise to 600 meters of altitude. Serra d’Ossa is decisive for the quality of the grapes, allowing the production of very fresh and aromatic citrus white wines, pleasant and smooth red wines capable of being consumed young, and the production of more concentrated wines with good aging potential.

ADEGA DE REDONDO practices sustainable viticulture and is aware that quality starts in the vineyard. So it closely follows its two hundred producers, offering them technical assistance to produce healthy grapes harvested at the perfect point of maturation.

Thanks to its aggressive commercial strategy in brand building, it is today the proud owner of PORTA DA RAVESSA wine brand, the undisputed market leader in Portugal, with annual sales exceeding 8 million bottles. In addition to this flagship brand, AR produces a diversified set of other wine brands, emphasizing the emblematic REAL LAVRADOR.

The diversity of brands for different market segments includes names such as AR, ANTA DA SERRA, MARÉ VIVA, LATITUDE, LONGITUDE, ALBARRADA, and CASTELO DE ALANDROAL, all of them consistently obtaining, year after year, numerous distinctions in national and international events.
